Hello! I've seen your project, Eccp109. It looks quite interesting, and I'd like to create a Debian package for the client you wrote, which will hopefuly be included in the Debian distribution.
By having your client in Debian, you'll benefit from tracking of issues like general bug-reporting, security auditing, architecture and kernel portability, and will recieve contributions from the Debian project on those fields. Our policy about licensing is very strict, so there's a question that needs to be clarified first: What is the license of the client sources? I found that some headers are licensed under the GNU GPL, but others are undefined. If the full sources are indeed GPL, could you put a 'LICENSE' file to clarify it? There's another important question. Does your program contain any encryption algorithm which exportation is forbidden by US laws? There's no problem if it does, but I need to know that for distribution reasons. note: please keep the CC to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks for your attention. -- Robert Millan "5 years from now everyone will be running free GNU on their 200 MIPS, 64M SPARCstation-5" Andrew S.
