You can use this program you talk to people on the ICQ/MSN/Jabber networks using your favourite IRC client. (irssi, or anything else if you insist..) The program is still in heavy development (and non-stability), so there is nothing released yet. I will try to get it released quite soon (and do the Debian and 'upstream' upload at once).
