This still leaves a buggy xul-ext-adblock-plus in Debian waiting for users to trip over the bug. Wouldn't it be better to just apply the bug fix to that, even if upstream, for whatever reason, is resistant to fixing the bug there? (Assuming that upstream is not going to be hard forked to irrelevance due to their behavior..) -- see shy jo
