Daniel, I just pushed a new branch 'revamp' to the git repository for asio on collab-maint. A separate branch, because I wanted to preserve my 1.4.1-4 version, which matches 1.4.1-3.2 exactly (i.e. delivers the same sets of files as per debdiff), but does so with revamped rules (debhelper 7, source format 3.0, etc..). AFAIR pretty much lintian clean.
>From there on, I've added every single patch release of asio as a separate commit. These steps in between build fine and run through the asio test suite, but aren't tested any further than that. The head of the branch 'revamp' is at 1.4.8-1, i.e. the most up to date version of asio. I'd like to merge that onto the 'master' branch. That version is lintian clean and packaged to the best of my knowledge. I think asio-1.4.8-1 is ready to land on experimental. (I've also updated the package to mentors, again, just to keep it up to date there as well).
