Agreed. I would volunteer to take that action and package winex-light for Debian, if no one else (knghtbrd?) is willing to do it [1], and if no one presents here on debian-devel good [2] reasons not to do it. I would also very much like to see opinion of Ove Kaaven, current Debian wine maintainer: I am very satisfied with his packaging of wine, and I'd like to be sure that my actions won't cause conflict with Debian wine maintainer. [1] I use wine occasionaly, and not heavily, some time ago I successfully built winex with Debian patches from Ove.
