I wrote this message about FreeBasic some two years ago. Unfortunately, it hasn't been enough to enable installing this interpreter for some people, who have written me for advise. I was unable to help them, because I'm not by any means a Linux expert. There are still many adepts to BASIC, and I think they (us) would appreciate if someone arranged a .deb package to install FreeBasic easily. Please do.
