Hopefully "bumping" bug reports isn't considered poor netiquette.
Spectrum packages would be very nice.
pyaimt is no longer maintained and a number of people have problems with
it regularly needing restarts (504393, 576433 in Debian). I dread the
day it just stops working. Spectrum looks like the best prospect for a
reliable server-agnostic AOL transport.
It also covers a bunch of other transports and seems to have an active
author ( https://github.com/hanzz ).
An official .deb would be the icing on the cake for us.
Regards,
Ian
