It's my intention to take over maintenance of php-codesniffer if nobody wants to work on it. This will be done inside the PKG-PHP-PEAR team available at pkg-php-p...@lists.alioth.debian.org. If you feel like you want to maintain php-codesniffer, we welcome your help! Please consider writing to the list and join the Alioth project. Best would be to work *not only* on php-codesniffer, we have lots of PEAR packages, and not enough workforce. Since there's no immediate need for an upload (I have done an NMU with a newer upstream version before the package was orphaned), the package will stay in current state (eg: Orphaned) until someone from the current PKG-PHP-PEAR updates it when it's going to be needed. If you are from the PKG-PHP-PEAR team and wish to update, please change the Maintainer: field to the team's address, and add me in the list of uploaders. Cheers. Thanks for your attention.
