(packaging is done, actually, but I'll wait a little bit for comments) (yeah, we've already got 4 of the 12 photo galleries that are on freshmeat, in debian already; this is closer to curator than any of them, in that it builds a tree of static content - I found I understood the workings of BINS better, and the use of XML made it easy to programmatically convert my lodju captioning over to it.) BINS generates a complete static gallery (images and html) with thumbnails and image lists, using XML files to hold information about each image. Includes bins_edit tool for adding information to the XML files. Interprets EXIF and JFIF tags (and Canon extensions) in the jpeg directly. Gallery appearance customizable through HTML templates; gallery can be generated in different languages. .
