kismet's current maintainer Francois Gurin <mat...@debian.org> seems to be MIA sincce 2008. May I propose to orphan the package? I would be also willing to adopt it, I have already prepared an update: http://mentors.debian.net/package/kismet What is the official procedure to follow? It will work with any wireless card that supports raw monitoring (rfmon) mode and can sniff 802.11b, 802.11a, and 802.11g traffic. .
