I have already set "Forwarded: not-needed" for some of the patches that I think are Debian specific (feel free to change this if you feel so) and I have also removed the "libtool" patch since it was not applied anyway (if we'll need it we can revert the git commit). Apart from fix_manpage_spelling I don't know why the other patches are needed (or if they are Debian specific or not). The no_com_err seems to be made to avoid to link and Depends against libcomerr2 and libk5crypto3, in libcurl3* packages, the curl_links_with_rt adds -lrt to the LDFLAGS and runtests_gdb runs some tests with libtool instead of invoking gdb directly. > > Final note.
