actually we packaged this addon to be able to make a system-wide installation on terminals of our company easily. then we thought there is no reason not to share it. i think packaging an extension is a good idea for system-wide mass installations. it becomes possible by only updating your package list. and also it's useful if the extension has a dependency. for example nuxeo's liveedit extension depends libreoffice and a libreoffice extension and needs user configuration after installation. for imkbizle case, there may not be a true need for a debian package, we had just thought it would have no harm :) but we can assure you we don't make releases so frequently. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to debian-wnpp-requ...@lists.debian.org with a subject of "unsubscribe".
