The only library left in this package is libbz2, and that one is provided by lib64bz2-1.0 as well, so amd64-libs is now completely redundant. There are no reverse dependencies and one reverse build dependency (alsa-plugins, see #634064). If nobody objects, I intend to reassign this bug to ftp.debian.org and ask for amd64-libs' removal in two weeks.
