The situation is that basically Grilo doesn't have a stable API/ABI yet, so instead of waiting for that to happen I think it makes sense to package it for experimental in the meantime as Andreas suggested. However I've been talking to upstream about this and they said they're not going to break anything anymore in the 0.1.x series, so we can create stable packages for that one right now. All major changes will happen in the 0.2.x series, which is due to start soon, with 0.1.x in maintenance mode happening in parallel. I'm planning to start working on this in the next days/weeks.
