We use OTRS where I work, and I'm the system administrator. I'm a fairly decent PERL programmer, who has done at least a little database programming (more Oracle than MySQL or PostgresSQL). The outfit I work for is a smallish start-up, which keeps me quite busy. So I will need to think about this before I actually commit to this.
