Upstream created a new version of daisy-player, version 5.2, which moved away from udev, and uses udisks. Upstream does not compile it's own version of madplay anymore, so that issue is solved.
I updated my packaging in my ppa and in the GIT repository. I will have some people test the package and I will update this bug with the next status. Paul
