Hi Dave! Thanks a lot for the efforts. I have successfully built it on an amd64 Ubuntu 10.04 box, and it runs beautifully.
I noticed that the build process didn't include clustering support, due to a lacking libavahi-glib-dev, so please find attached a patch to add that (probably just as easy to do by hand...). I suppose that this is a feature that should be built in. I've also included a README.Debian that documents the default KB name.
