Yes, I notice this. Unofficial group patch has
no mention about its license. I imagine they 
also released under BSD license, but, sure,
I must contact him and indentify its licence.

You are right that they mix BSD with *advertizing clause* and GPL.
Hmm, all xip messenger family has this problem...
