Package: wnpp Version: N/A; reported 2001-08-02 Severity: wishlist GtkScintilla is a wrapper around the scintilla source code editing widget (also used in scite, already in debian)
PyGtkScintilla is a python wrapper around GtkScintilla Moleskine is an editor for the gnome desktop, written in python and using the PyGtkScintilla widget license is GPL for the three. my main concern is with the license of scintilla itself: Permission to use, copy, modify, and distribute this software and its documentation for any purpose and without fee is hereby granted, ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ provided that the above copyright notice appear in all copies and that both that copyright notice and this permission notice appear in supporting documentation. being scite (that includes a static copy of scintilla) already in debian that should not be a problem, but i still think the wording of the license is a little bit confusing. is it ok or should i contact the upstream? -- System Information Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux lola 2.4.7 #1 gio ago 2 14:11:29 CEST 2001 i686 Locale: LANG=it_IT, LC_CTYPE=it_IT
