I'd prefer that Peter Vreman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, who's the Free Pascal Project's main man on Debian packaging and who has provided me with most of the infrastructure needed to build FPC on Debian, take over this package. Peter, if you're interested, I'd be glad to sponsor you while I'm a developer. The package's description is: The Free Pascal Compiler is a Turbo Pascal 7.0 and Delphi compatible 32-bit Pascal Compiler. It comes with a fully compatible TP 7.0 runtime library. Some extensions are added to the language, like function overloading. Shared libraries can be linked and created. Basic Delphi support is already implemented (classes, exceptions, ansistrings). This package contains the command line compiler. You need at least the RTL package before you can start compiling anything. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (999, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-1-k7 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (ignored: LC_ALL set to en_US.UTF-8) --------------------------------------- Received: (at 275779-done) by bugs.debian.org; 24 May 2005 22:14:37 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Tue May 24 15:14:36 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from rproxy.gmail.com [64.233.170.195] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DahfY-0002oM-00; Tue, 24 May 2005 15:14:36 -0700 Received: by rproxy.gmail.com with SMTP id b11so1209587rne for <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Tue, 24 May 2005 15:14:35 -0700 (PDT) DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=beta; d=gmail.com; h=received:message-id:date:from:reply-to:to:subject:mime-version:content-type:content-transfer-encoding:content-disposition; b=AonRdtN3zp0cswhufi8XOJTWkFyOWemaE0ZvT4zh5CnBf+VtkoSkbx4ZpaaJu9ix7T2Iv50gHDkZve5nV52b6f+44BoTq2tvhJ0E/+iBcnqbXk/MJjyVCFgwHdjAHHUOVCqFEn50spCcxFq5P7udWb1mQkzKZJf4Y5a0Q7bmMhc= Received: by 10.38.152.4 with SMTP id z4mr4180430rnd; Tue, 24 May 2005 15:14:33 -0700 (PDT) Received: by 10.38.10.17 with HTTP; Tue, 24 May 2005 15:14:33 -0700 (PDT) Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Tue, 24 May 2005 19:14:33 -0300 From: Carlos Laviola <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Reply-To: Carlos Laviola <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Changed my mind Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_01 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: I had changed my mind a number of months ago.
