It provides the basic algorithmical tools that have been proven to produce the highest quality panoramic images from many different forms of raw image data in diferent projections. . Panorama Tools was originally created by Professor Helmut Dersch of the University of Applied Sciences Furtwangen. Professor Dersch's site no longer has links to download the tools, which is why the panotools sourceforge project exists. Dersch's Panoramatools have been declared GPL by him but he never released the source. So the actual "tools" from him are not available. There are good alternatives though, namely autopano-sift, hugin and probably others. preview: http://people.debian.org/~jordens/debs --2fHTh5uZTiUOsy+g Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAuNxxHSjkv+Av7xERAgq+AJ9ILu3DH2qkJADUcd5qGgrOvm6FagCfXPyb XAEtI34gnG1GN8+wNUU6yZ0= =4ERP -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --2fHTh5uZTiUOsy+g-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 251617-close) by bugs.debian.org; 15 May 2005 21:48:01 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun May 15 14:48:01 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DXQxs-0002cO-00; Sun, 15 May 2005 14:48:00 -0700 Received: from joerg by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1DXQhz-0001Ed-00; Sun, 15 May 2005 17:31:35 -0400 From: Florent Bayle <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: lisa $Revision: 1.30 $ Subject: Bug#251617: fixed in libpano12 2.7.0.9-1 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Joerg Jaspert <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sun, 15 May 2005 17:31:35 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: Source: libpano12 Source-Version: 2.7.0.9-1 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of libpano12, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: libpano12-bin_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12-bin_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb libpano12-dev_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12-dev_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb libpano12_2.7.0.9-1.diff.gz to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12_2.7.0.9-1.diff.gz libpano12_2.7.0.9-1.dsc to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12_2.7.0.9-1.dsc libpano12_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12_2.7.0.9-1_i386.deb libpano12_2.7.0.9.orig.tar.gz to pool/main/libp/libpano12/libpano12_2.7.0.9.orig.tar.gz A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
