Hi Steve.
Yes, I saw this package and talk with his upstream author. He said
that he'll re-write the software, but now, it's staled. Before we
create a team to rewrite this in python, I found the
update-{notifier,manager}, made by the Ubuntu Team. I think it will be
~ easy to maintain, since we can work together in this piece of software.
