To be honest, I was trying to reduce the amount of time I was spending on this discussion (I certainly failed at that), and therefore was doing the old debian-vote hack of only paying close attention to proposals that had reached the required number of seconds and relying on other people to winnow down the number of things I had to examine in detail. So I have not taken a close look at the specifics of Thorston's proposal (other than the side point that I don't think we know whether non-free firmware contains machine learning models and therefore aren't really in a position to make rules about that). -- Russ Allbery (r...@debian.org) <https://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/>
