Firstly, I realise that I have an obvious bias here. But, speaking entirely personally: I would like to engage properly with the discussion on the details of the maximum term limit. But I don't have the energy for that right now. I need to limit the proportion of my Debian effort that goes into politics, for my own sanity if for no other reason. So just to be entirely clear: you are completely entitled to push on with this now, and I understand why you want to. But you did ask for my personal opinion, and my preference would be to wait.
