They did change their mind - on this particular issue. But the problem of using trademarks to push non-free copyright-like terms is still looming. I strongly consider seconding Wouter's message, although I'd like to word it less Mozilla-specific (as it is not a punishment against Mozilla itself, and there are _many_ trademarked projects shipping in Debian).
