Debian has an open GR process that any developer can contribute to; the most support a developer needs to get for his idea for it to appear on the ballot is five seconds, whether I agree with him or not. I certainly have not claimed that this is the "One True Way" to fix the Social Contract, that this is the only proposal that would meet the supermajority requirement, or that it's the only proposal I will entertain; but it *is* the only proposal to have earned the requisite number of seconds, which means it's the only one that's actually moving the process forward in any measurable fashion to date. So far, you have not offered any suggestions on how to improve the actual proposal, opting instead to take pot shots at the manner in which it was introduced and making inferences about my intentions.
