Well, no, but i believe that new kernel release handling deserve it too, and not this almost a month if not more wait from upload to NEW queue handling we are currently seing. And i have sent a non-flame mail to ftp-masters, proposing help on handling of this, like overviewing the changes between versions and proposing a resume of it, to help the ftp-masters job, but to this date, i hardly have seen a reply. Fun will be when the upstream kernel release schedule picks up again, and we see upstream new kernel release faster than the handling of the NEW queue. Also, if the ftp-masters would automate the handling of new versions of libraries and such, as mandated by our library policy, it would make their work easier, the same can happen with kernel packages. But any such proposal only ends in the enless void which is the ftp-masters mail boxes, and even if they read it, which i believe or at least hope they do, a quick response should be a good thing to make all this mess less important. Mmm, maybe the DPL should apoint a ftp-master secretary or something, which should not really do ftp-master work, but keep track of all complains, and incoming email, sort them, and provide some kind of information in return. The DPL was acting as such some time back, but hardly seems to have the time for this now. And obviously, it would have to be someone with good contact with the ftp-masters.
