Perhaps. Unfortunately, people's opinion on exactly which arguments are "stupidly bogus", and which are merely not as well-thought-through as you'd like, differ. Also, while you might be factually correct (assuming that a designation of "stupidly bogus" can be that in the first place), people differ on where they draw the line between civilly arguing against something, calling the argument names, or calling the arguer names.
