What I mean is that should this GR pass, there is no more ambiguity on what is part of Debian* and what is not. Whether we want to clarify the syntactic or semantic or whatever sugar of (the) Debian (project|distribution), is only a cosmetic issue then. But nevertheless worth fixing I guess, it just would not have a big practical impact anymore.
