set pgp_sign_micalg
Values are pgp-md5, pgp-sha1, pgp-rmd160. For a gpg key, you want
pgp-sha1. For a pgp2.6.2 key you want pgp-md5.
pgp-sha1 should be the default for a Debian installation if you're using
the current default /etc/Muttrc at least.
