I have a Dell Dimension 2350 and need to locate a driver for the Broadcom 4401 Ethernet chipset. I have installed a recent version of Knoppix (2/16/04) and it's kernel 2.4.26 can use the 4401.
I tried installing kernel 2.6.5 with Broadcom support for a "vanilla" Debian install and the NIC was non-functioning. I would prefer not being tied to a kernel version, however. If someone could help me to locate a generic Broadcome 4401 (b44) driver, please e-mail me at "[EMAIL PROTECTED]". Thanks, Bob
