What's the relationship between /etc/udev/devfs.rules and /etc/udev/udev.rules? With the latest udev upgrade (0.024-6), I lost my video for linux devices. Before the upgrade they were in /dev/v4l/*.
Sure enough I found that the rules for them had disappeared from /etc/udev/udev.rules. They're now in /etc/udev/devfs.rules. As a hack (rather than disabling udev entirely), I copied the relevant entries from /etc/udev/devfs.rules to /etc/udev/udev.rules. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
