I have been running Unstable here for about nine months as my desktop.

I switched from a muchly patched SuSE 7.3 Frankenbox. (I had rpms
from SuSE, Mandrake, DeadRat, PLD, and some I rolled , myself) to
Debian Sid. (Heck I noticed for somethings my frankenbox was more
current <g>)

However, be ye forwarned; Unstable is named after the kid who breaks toys
/for a reason/. Do not use sid unless you know how to replace a broken
package with a known good one, (catastrophic breakages are NOT unknown).
