Following a recent apt-get upgrade, the morning e-mail from aide's cron job is a lot shorter (and less useful that it used to be):
***** This is an automated report generated by the Advanced Intrusion Detection Environment on garcia at 2004-04-17 06:25. AIDE produced no errors. Output of the daily AIDE run (4 lines): AIDE found differences between database and filesystem!! Summary: Total number of files=68235,added files=1,removed files=0,changed files=12 ***** It used to include the list of added|removed|changed files (althought truncated if it exceeded a fairly large number of lines). Now that information isn't even in /var/log/aide/aide.log -- which only contains the extremely short summary above. To get the list of changes I have to run ``aide --update'' from a console or at. How can I change it back? Thanks, Adam -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
