Any common software activity (at the time of crashing) between the two machines that might be the cause? Actually, the only CPU issue I have run into was with an (AMD 5x86 or IBM/Cyrix 686) that would sometimes crash when Netscape was running (turned out to be overheating with CPU usage because the fan was not working properly).
