That's _one_ answer. But I got a different one.
Let's assume you've got a file which is filled with exactly 1,073,741,824 spaces in a row. Now look at the compression- effectiveness-"table", got in <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>:

But maybe you don't want to compress a file full of spaces...

And I have another one. He didn't mentioned that it's supposed to be a lossless compression. Once I've written the function, it has compressed 10kb file into few bytes. Unfortunately, I was not able to uncompress it to the original form. ;-) Well, jpeg with max compression level is also nice.
