I can boot off the first install CD and create partitions with no
problem. The swap partition (hda4, 2 GB) initializes fine, as does hda1 (5 GB). When initializing the remaining partitions (hda2, 10 GB, and hda3, 23 GB),
2+5+10+33=40G IMHO for a 40G hd ?
That's 2 + 5 + 10 + 23 (not 33) = 40 :)
Whereis hda1 ??
To clarify:
Partition Mount Point Size --------------------------------- hda1 / 5 GB hda2 /var 10 GB hda3 /home 23 GB hda4 swap 2 GB
