What is personal about asking if your statement was meant as a criticism of
PPP?
If you are on dial-up, it can be a lot more economic to save your mails and have things configured so that they are sent next time you go on line.
If you have things configured to be sent immediately, your mail client could be dialing everytime you send a mail, and if you are an active participant on a list like this, your phone bill could send you to the poor house.
