I'm 100% sure it's a setting. It works fine in Gnoppix, which is based on Knoppix/Debian
You're right. Any key combo involving Fn isn't going to get picked up by software
If I run showkey -s on a console in Gnoppix I see the keycodes of the Fn combos involving the Fn key. And also acme works overthere.
