If I have run "dpkg -x foo.deb .", would I describe the package as
a) uninstalled b) unpacked and uninstalled c) extracted and uninstalled d) extracted I think "unpacked" has a specific meaning (the state it's in during an installation) so it's not b, but I'm not sureed. Is "extracted" a common term? Sometimes I just test packages by extracting them and running them from ./usr/bin relative, and I'm writing about that. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
