Hello, Wonder if anyone can help. I've just moved from RedHat to Debian and have a couple of queries: - Anyone know of any sites that try to make such moves simple for users - that list some of the common differences between Debian and RedHat? - On RedHat /etc/rc.d/init.d/ was where you could find scripts to start/stop apache, samba, etc .... where is this on Debian? - Also on RedHat you could use chkconfig to setup such a script to restart on reboot - is there an equivalent for Debian?
