No.  There is no reason there should be a default package layout for
anything but a basic system.  Having a couple dozen possible tasks
seems to be the right way to go.  While not being the kind of surgical
precision hand-picking packages does, it still gives the user a blunt
instrument to get it kinda right and work from there.  As opposed to
taking the entirety of the package pool and honing out anything that
doesn't look like their system.
