Hi, I did a WEBDAV-Server once, to test the Mozilla-Calendar Sunbird (or whatever name it had). I found good help, also LDAP-Dokuments and HOwTo's, maybe this will help you...... and I can catch your drift (btw I bought a book on this topic *laugh*)...
Try this page, it's quite informative (although it's look is more of the old-fashioned way) http://www.tldp.org/ use the search and simply type in ldap, it will give you good HowTos & guides...
