Heh. I just finished putting the same mouse on my other machine, and the settings didn't work there (both Sid, different innards). The problem stemmed from gpm being set up with a "raw" repeat rate. I'll file the above reset away for a rainy day, though. It so often seems like a crap shoot with some things...
