Hi folks. I've just encountered a problem with xfig not printing- lpr is complaining about empty input. I have CUPS installed--it seems to work with other apps OK (LyX, firebird, gnumeric, text files).
Somewhere in the CUPS work I vaguely recall a sentence about having to tell certain apps. about CUPS as they use printing methods that don't tie in well to CUPS, but I can't track that down. I'm wondering if xfig is one of those apps? The printer (an HP LJ1200) is seen in the print dialog. Googling gives a variety of hits on things unconnected with xfig, and I'm frustrated. There are no error messages in the CUPS log. Anyone have a thought about what to try tracking down with this?
