[ ... ] I'm on unstable, powerpc: $ apt-cache policy navigator-smotif-477 W: Unable to locate package navigator-smotif-477 $ apt-cache policy netscape-base-4 netscape-base-4: Installed: (none) Candidate: (none) Version Table: So I'd try to get set up /etc/apt/sources.list for stable, too, but without removing the lines for the unstable versions, and then do something along the line # apt-get --simulate install -t stable <netscape-package> and look what apt-get says ...
