Thanks, Ken. I now know that this is not a debian or linux problem. I booted Win98SE and conducted "official" Sprint speed tests... Running tests: Please wait... -- Starting download test... Done! -- Starting upload test... Done! Testing complete! Your results are: - Download speed: 201.000 KBits/sec ( 4 times faster than a 56k modem ) - Upload speed: 227.000 KBits/sec ( 7 times faster than a 56k modem ) I now have to fight my way through crap tech support.
