Hi! I just installed today the most newest sarge OS, and everything went fine except one mistake. I cannot plug in the macromedia flashplayer plugin into mozilla, or into netscape, or opera. I' ve download the install_flash_player_6_linux.tar.gz file from the official website of macromedia, extract it, run it, and give to it the location of mozilla, or netscape. It says it was successful, but if i start mozilla i got back this message:
" [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ /usr/local/mozilla/mozilla & [1] 1209 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so [libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /usr/local/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so [libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory] " , but /usr/local/mozzila/plugins/libflashplayer.so file exists, and is the same i can found in the downloaded install_flash_player_6_linux.tar.gz The next commajd give me back this results. debian:/programmes/flashplayer/install_flash_player_6_linux# dpkg -l | grep -i libstdc ii libstdc++5 3.3.3-0pre3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 ii libstdc++5-3.3 3.3.3-0pre3 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3 (development debian:/programmes/flashplayer/install_flash_player_6_linux# After the first message mozzila starts, but without supporting the flash plugin.
