-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi list,
I have a very strange problem: normally I have the path for defoma (/var/lib/defoma/x-ttcidfont-conf.d/dirs/TrueType) in my XF86Config-4 and GTK/KDE apps work well. However, simple x-apps which don't use these libraries wont start but complain they cannot find any suitable font. I'm running unstable and my locale is set to en_US.UTF-8. I want to use ISO10646-1 fonts with my x-apps. Examples where this problem occurs are xfontsel and xcin (cvs version, which works with UTF8 locales). When I take the defoma paths out of my X config file and make the fonts.scale and fonts.dir files manually in /usr/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType and link the truetype fonts from /usr/share/fonts/truetype to that directory, everything works fine. So, I suspect defoma to be the culprit. Can someone confirm this problem? Cheers Arne - -- Arne GÃtje (éçè) <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (Spam catcher. Address might change in future!)
