actually, i DID swallow a 14ga barbell several years back. for
safety's sake i had to "find" the jewelry to be sure it wasn't hung up
somewhere gouging the hell out of me. it came out very shiny indeed.
i wear it through a bracelet on my wrist. it's a great
conversation piece.
